befriend

Befriend is an interactive video installation that asks users to interact and manipulate their self image as it echos through time.

This piece was a collaborative work by myself, Bryan Adare and Nathan Garvie.

The piece was originally shown as a class project and then later remodeled to be shown at the Ryerson gallery.

Befriend was part of a show entitled Refractions in January 2008.

Originally the piece relied on users pushing buttons to trigger the delayed video.

For the Refractions show we re-did the piece but this time we eliminated the buttons and used motion sensors to trigger the video delay.
